Mission & Discipleship Enabler Position

Linton Free Church is a vibrant, growing church located in Linton, South Cambridgeshire. After seeing several people engage with the church and start a journey of faith in Jesus, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Mission and Discipleship Enabler. The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside our current team as we continue our mission and discipleship efforts.

Our mission statement as a church is to ‘Love, Live, and Share Jesus’. Therefore, this role will need to be filled by someone who has the same desire to help lead people to relationship with Jesus and help them in that ongoing journey of discipleship.

You will have a vibrant and active Christian faith and be a person of both prayer and action who is able to share their faith with all.

In partnership with the Minister, Elders and Church members:

Help develop and implement the Church’s mission strategy.
Organise and coordinate discipleship programmes for both Church members and new believers, liaising closely with Home Groups.
Working in partnership with the Minister, coordinate and assist with delivery of the Church’s mission programme, including Alpha and other new and existing mission related projects and activities.
Foster a culture of evangelism and discipleship within the church community.
Work collaboratively with the church leadership team to develop and implement initiatives that promote spiritual growth and discipleship.
Build relationships with members of the local community and engage in evangelism.
Identify opportunities for the Church to serve the community
Provide support and encouragement to Church members who are involved in outreach and discipleship and arrange informal or formal training, as required.
Be actively involved in the life of the Church and participate in church leadership meetings.
Communicate regularly in person and through all available media, with the Church about mission and discipleship.
